[20] At Last

I am so glad it's the weekend. I am not going to half-ass it like I did last weekend, definitely not. I am going to be social. I am.

I think my parents are getting along a lot better than they were before. In fact, I think divorce is now kind of a thing of the past. They're acting exactly how they did before they had that huge talk and I'm guessing that they've resolved their problems. I really don't know what my opinion is on this subject. I'm happy they're not having problems, but at the same time I would have really liked just living with one parent rather than two. Together they're worse. Perhaps I am being selfish. But if you knew them, you'd probably think so too.

Meanwhile, we're beginning our poetry research in English. Today we went to the library and I just kind of sat there writing random words on my notecards to pretend like I was working. I feel like such an idiot in that class. Everyone acts like British royalty and I'm just like, "Ehhh?"

The dilemma with my friends has slightly gotten better. Although I didn't go through with any of my options, somehow they don't talk about "that fucking crazy night" as often as they used to. I hope that they don't start up again soon. I don't think I could take any more twiddling of my thumbs while they tell each other about how they ate nine pieces of pizza and went streaking.

Violins are so pretty. I've always wanted to be able to play one.
