[21] Heaven, What A Lovely Idea

I think I may have conjuctivitis. My eyes have been stinging and burning for weeks now and I don't know what the problem is. At first I thought it was just allergies, but now it's come to the point where at times I can barely open my eyes. This has also caused me to have a headache about every day, and now I just want to sleep all day. Fun.

I just now realized that it has been four years since 9/11. I can't believe that that was 6th grade. It was such a long time ago. I remember it. I was in the car with my mom and my friend Whitney. We had just dropped my sister off at the highschool I go to now, and we were on our way to my middle school when the radio announced what had happened. My mom gasped really loudly and I said, "What are the Twin Towers?"

Death is such a controversial topic. Everyone has a different view of heaven and hell, or some don't believe in either at all. And it's strange to think about it, because there are so many possibilities. I read this book once called The Lovely Bones. It was about a girl who was murdered in the 70's and how in heaven she watched everyone change because of her death. The book described heaven as something different for each individual, and now I kind of believe it. Now I believe that there isn't one heaven for everyone, that each person has his or her own heaven with all of the things that they love, and if someone has the same loves as you do, they share your heaven.

It's hard to explain, I'll admit. But doesn't it seem so magnificent? Never having to deal with little problems, never having to do something you don't want to do. Never worrying again. If heaven is really like that, I can't wait to go.
